Introduction: Bakuriani is a winter resort, located 180 km west of Tbilisi in Borjomi gorge, surrounded by the Caucasus mountain range. The village is connected to Borjomi with road and narrow-gauge railway. The ski resort is situated at an altitude of about 1,700 meters above sea level on the northern slope of the Trialeti Range.
