Summary:
One of our most popular short tours 4 intense days to experience Georgian wine, gastronomy and culture. It includes visits to wineries in to main regions of Georgian winemaking: Kartli and Kakheti. The tour will also take you through the history and architecture including, castles, monasteries and cathedrals.
Kakheti is home to 65% of Georgia’s vineyards; approximately 80 endemic varieties of grapes are to be found there.Of the white varieties of grape, which cultivated in Kakheti, one should first of all mention Rkatsiteli, Mtsvane Kakhuri, Khikhvi and Kisi. The main variety of red grape is Saperavi. Saperavi occupies the same position in Kakhetian winemaking as Pinot Noir does in Burgundy or Sangiovese in Tuscany. In Kartli there is 72 different varieties of grape, and it is also rich with its vineyards.

• Wineries will be selected depending on availability and your personal preferences; we can always try to include the ones you prefer.
• Usually you will taste a minimum of two or three wines on each winery; more extensive tasting can be included.
• Although this is a privet tour we do not guarantee that the winery visit will be just for your group unless specifically requested. Please let us know if you prefer to have a privet tour and tasting.
• If you have a specific budget let us know, we can consider it.
• These tours can be done starting with two people.
• If for any reason any given establishment is not available during the dates requested, we will change the winery hotel or restaurant for a different one within the same category and level of service.

Itinerary:
Legend: L – lunch, D – dinner, H – hotel, B – breakfast. We can always customize the program for you.

Day1. Guided wine tour in Kartli - Mtskheta. (H, B, L, D) night in Tbilisi.
Your guide will pick you up from your hotel in Tbilisi to start driving to Mtskheta. Then you will have a guided wine tour where you will visit Chateau Mukhrani wineries and have lunch. For lunch you will enjoy the typical Georgian meal in one of the best restaurant of the area. You will have time to visit SvetitskhoveliCathedral. It is Georgian Orthodox Cathedral located in the historical town of Mtskheta, and have a walk on fabulous streets of the town. On the way back you will have a dinner in one of Tbilisi’s best restaurant.

Day2. Kakheti - Telavi, Signagi. (H, B, L, D) night in Signagi.
Drive to Telavi. Visit Winiveria’s winery and have a lunch in Chateau Mere. After the lunch you will check in the hotel in Signagi and after that drive to Bodbe Monastery The extant church of a three-nave basilica with three protruding apses – was originally built between the 9th and 11th centuries. In 3km from the convent, a small chapel was constructed to house a St. Nino’s Spring, which according to a local legend, emerged through Nino’s prayers and is believed to have a healing power. On your back way to hotel you will have an unforgettable dinner in Pheasant’s Tears restaurant.

Day3. Kvareli. (H, B, L, D) night in Signagi.
After breakfast we will move to Kvareli district. Visit Kvareli Tunnel in WineryKhareba and have lunch in natures lap. The main attraction of Kvareli is Gremi – 16th century architectural monument. The complex is what has survived from the one flourishing town of Gremi.Depending on the time and if you don’t mind visiting less wineries you will have a time to walk in an ancient town Signagi.

Day4. After check out time from the hotel you ‘ll move to Tbilisi.(B, L).
